These medium-voltage power cables are designed for distribution systems with XLPE insulation and a concentric copper screen. They are suitable for installation in buildings, substations, open air, underground, in cable trays, and ducts—provided there's low risk of mechanical damage. The conductor, made of aluminum or copper (Class 2 per EN 60228), is round, stranded, and compacted, and is surrounded by a semi-conducting XLPE layer and XLPE insulation.
 
Additional features include a semiconducting insulation screen, nonwoven semiconducting tape, copper wires and tape applied helically for screening, a polyester inner layer, and a red PVC sheath. These cables support an operating temperature of up to +90°C, short-circuit temperatures of +250°C, and installation down to –5°C. Rated at 12/20 kV and tested at 42 kV, they operate at 50 Hz and require a bending radius of 15× the cable diameter. Single-core, available in conductor sizes from 35 to 1000 mm² (Al) and 16 to 50 mm² (Cu).
