YHAKXS and YHKXS are medium-voltage power cables designed for 8.7/15 kV distribution systems in buildings, power stations, ducts, trays, and open air, where mechanical stress is minimal. These cables use XLPE insulation and a concentric copper screen for reliable electrical performance and safety.
 
They feature stranded, round, compacted aluminum or copper conductors (EN 60228, Class 2), semi-conducting XLPE conductor and insulation screens, and XLPE insulation. Additional layers include a semiconducting nonwoven tape, helical copper wires and tape screen, polyester tape inner covering, and a red PVC outer sheath.
 
The cable operates in temperatures from –50 °C to +50 °C, with a maximum conductor temperature of +90 °C and a short-circuit limit of +250 °C. Rated at 8.7/15 kV and tested at 30.5 kV, it has a 15 × D bending radius. Available in single-core versions with sizes from 35 mm² to 1000 mm² (Al) or up to 50 mm² (Cu).
