The YHAKXS (aluminum) and YHKXS (copper) cables are designed for medium-voltage power distribution with XLPE insulation and a concentric copper screen. Suitable for installation in buildings, power stations, open air, underground, ducts, and cable trays where mechanical damage is not expected. These single-core cables are built with Class 2 round, compacted conductors (EN 60228), and include a semi-conducting XLPE conductor screen, XLPE insulation, a semi-conducting insulation screen, semiconducting nonwoven tape, helically applied copper wire and tape screen, polyester tape, and a red PVC sheath.
 
Operating between –50°C and +50°C, the cables support short-circuit temperatures up to +250°C and a maximum conductor temperature of +90°C. Rated at 3.6/6 kV and tested at 12.5 kV, they are suitable for indoor and outdoor use at 50 Hz. Fire performance is compliant with EN 60332-1-2, and the minimum bending radius is 15 × D.
