The YAKYFoy (aluminum) and YKYFoy (copper) cables are designed for medium-voltage power distribution in environments with increased mechanical risk, such as buildings, substations, underground routes, and cable trays. These cables are constructed with Class 2 stranded, shaped conductors (EN 60228), color-coded PVC insulation (HD 603), a concentric copper wire and tape screen, EPDM or plastic tape fillers, an inner PVC covering, and are armored with galvanized round steel wires. A final black PVC sheath ensures added durability and resistance.
 
Operating in temperatures from –50°C to +50°C and tolerating short-circuit temperatures up to +150°C, these 3-core cables are rated at 3.6/6 kV and tested at 12.5 kV. With fire resistance compliant to EN 60332-1-2 and a bending radius of 10 × D, they are suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. Offered in conductor sizes ranging from 16 mm² to 300 mm², they provide safe and reliable power delivery for demanding applications.
