The YAKY (aluminum) and YKY (copper) multicore cables are designed for medium-voltage distribution in environments such as buildings, power stations, open air, ground, cable trays, and ducts where mechanical damage is not expected. Built to EN 60228 Class 2 standards, they feature stranded, shaped conductors, PVC insulation (HD 603), a filler layer of EPDM+PVC or tape, helically applied copper wire and tape screening, and a black PVC outer sheath.

Rated for 3.6/6 kV and tested at 12.5 kV, these cables perform in temperatures from –50°C to +50°C, withstanding short-circuit heat up to +150°C. Fire-rated to EN 60332-1-2, they support both indoor and outdoor use at 50 Hz. Available in 3-core configurations, they come in sizes from 16 mm² to 300 mm², with a bending radius of 10 × D.
