XUHAKXS and XUHKXS are medium-voltage power cables designed for distribution in buildings, power stations, and outdoor or underground installations where mechanical damage is unlikely. These cables feature XLPE insulation, a concentric copper screen, and longitudinal water sealing for added protection.
 
They are made with stranded Class 2 aluminum (XUHAKXS) or copper (XUHKXS) conductors (EN 60228), semi-conducting XLPE conductor and insulation screens, and a water-swellable tape for longitudinal sealing. A copper wire and tape screen, additional non-conducting water-swellable layer, and a black PE outer sheath enhance durability.
 
The cables operate between –60 °C and +50 °C, support conductor temperatures up to +90 °C, and withstand short-circuit temps of +250 °C. Rated at 8.7/15 kV with 30.5 kV testing voltage, they are suitable for 50 Hz systems and require a bending radius of 15 × D. Available in 1-core, 35–1000 mm² (Al) and up to 50 mm² (Cu).
