These medium-voltage power cables are designed for reliable energy distribution in buildings, power stations, outdoors, or underground where mechanical stress is minimal. They feature XLPE insulation, concentric copper screening, and both longitudinal and radial water sealing. The "n" variants offer enhanced flame retardance (EN 60332-1-2) and are sheathed in red weather-resistant PE.
 
Cables include stranded aluminum (XRUHAKXS, XnRUHAKXS) or copper (XRUHKXS, XnRUHKXS) conductors (EN 60228, Class 2), with semi-conducting XLPE conductor and insulation screens. A semiconducting water-swellable tape ensures longitudinal sealing, while a radial barrier of aluminum/plastic laminate provides additional moisture protection. Operating from –60 °C to +50 °C, these cables handle +90 °C during operation and +250 °C under short-circuit conditions. Rated at 8.7/15 kV with 30.5 kV test voltage, suitable for 50 Hz, and available in single-core sizes from 35 mm² to 1000 mm² (Al) and up to 50 mm² (Cu).
