XHAKXS and XHKXS are medium-voltage cables designed for power distribution in buildings, stations, open air, ducts, trays, and underground areas with minimal mechanical risk. They feature XLPE insulation and a concentric copper screen for enhanced safety and performance.
 
Constructed with stranded Class 2 aluminum (XHAKXS) or copper (XHKXS) conductors (EN 60228), the cables include semi-conducting XLPE conductor/insulation screens, XLPE insulation, and a semiconducting nonwoven tape. A copper wire/tape screen, polyester tape, and a black PE outer sheath ensure durability.
 
They operate between –60 °C and +50 °C, with a max conductor temp of +90 °C and short-circuit limit of +250 °C. Rated at 8.7/15 kV, tested at 30.5 kV, and suitable for 50 Hz systems. Bending radius: 15 × D. Available in single-core, 35–1000 mm² (Al), and up to 50 mm² (Cu).
