EX wires are engineered for reliable performance in overhead power transmission lines. Made with 24 aluminum conductors per EN 60228, Class 2 – RM (stranded, round, compacted), they offer excellent conductivity and strength. Each conductor is insulated with black weather-resistant thermoplastic PE, ideal for outdoor durability and UV resistance.

These wires operate within a temperature range of -50°C to +50°C, with a max conductor temperature of +70°C and short-circuit tolerance up to 135°C. Designed for fixed outdoor use, they support a bending radius of 18D and can be installed at -20°C. Rated at 0.6/1 kV and tested at 4 kV, they perform at 50 Hz and come in cross-sections of 25 mm², 50 mm², and 95 mm².
