These medium voltage power cables are designed for distribution networks with pre-assembled XLPE-insulated aluminum conductors. Ideal for installation in buildings, open air, underground, ducts, trays, and wet environments with minimal mechanical stress. They are also suitable for plough cabling and come in WP variants for enhanced water protection.
 
The construction features Class 2 stranded, compacted aluminum conductors per EN 60228, XLPE insulation and screens, semiconducting nonwoven or water-swellable tapes (WP), helically applied copper wire and tape screen, and a weather-resistant black PE sheath. WP versions include swelling fillers and a radial water barrier. Rated 18/30 kV, tested at 63 kV, with sizes ranging from 50/16 mm² to 240/25 mm². Operating temp up to +90 °C; short-circuit temp +250 °C. Bending radius: 12×D.

Construction 1. Conductor: Aluminum acc, to EN 60228 (water tight). Class 2 - RMC (stranded, round, compacted),

5. Assembly of cores: Three insulated cores are laid-up (pre-assembled). For WP - laid-up with interstice swelling fillers;
6. Inner covering: Semiconducting nonwoven tape. For WP - semiconducting water-swellable tape;
7. Screen: Copper wires and copper tape, applied helically;
8. Inner covering: Plastic tape. For WP - Semiconducting water-swellable tape;
9. Radial water barrier: For WP - aluminum/plastic laminate tightly attached to outer sheath;
10. Cover: Weather-resistant black color PE.
