Designed for overhead power distribution and service lines, these wires feature bundled, insulated aluminum cores twisted around an un-insulated messenger conductor. Ideal for outdoor fixed installations, AMKA wires are constructed with aluminum conductors in compliance with EN 60228, using Class 1 solid round conductors for 16 mm² size and Class 2 compacted stranded conductors for all other sizes. Each core is insulated with a durable, weather-resistant black PE and identified via embossed markings. Suitable for outdoor-only cabling, these wires operate effectively within a temperature range of -30°C to +70°C, withstanding short circuits up to 135°C and a maximum conductor temperature of +70°C. They allow for a bending radius of 18D, can be installed at temperatures as low as -20°C, and are rated for 0.6/1 kV with a test voltage of 2.5 kV at 50 Hz. Offered in multiple configurations, including 116+25, 316+25, 325+35, 335+50, 350+70, 370+95, 3120+95, 416+25, and 4*25+35.
