Medium-voltage power cables with pre-assembled XLPE-insulated conductors, ideal for fixed installations in buildings, ducts, trays, ground, wet areas, or open air where mechanical damage is unlikely. Also suitable for plough cabling.
 
Construction: Water-tight Class 2 aluminum conductor (EN 60228), semi-conducting XLPE screen, XLPE insulation and screen, and three pre-assembled insulated cores. WTL/WTR types include interstice swelling fillers. Core assembly wrapped in semiconducting nonwoven or water-swellable tape. Screened with copper wires and tape, then plastic or semiconducting water-swellable inner covering. WTR version includes aluminum/plastic laminate water barrier. Outer sheath is black, weather-resistant PE.
Specs: 1 or 3 cores, 35–800 mm². Temp: -60 to +90 °C (max short circuit: +250 °C). Install temp: ≥-20 °C. Rated 18/30 kV, test 63 kV, 50 Hz, bend radius 12×D.

Application Power cables for medium voltage distribution with pre-assembled XLPE-insulated conductors. Suitable for
laying in buildings, in open air, in ground, in cable trays and ducts where mechanical damages are not expected,
in wet locations. Suitable for plough cabling.
Construction 1. Conductor: Aluminum acc. to EN 60228 (water tight). Class 2 - RMC (stranded, round, compacted);
2. Conductor screen: Semi-conducting XLPE;
3. Insulation: XLPE;
4. Insulation screen: Semi-conducting XLPE;
5. Assembly of cores: Three insulated cores are laid-up (pre-assembled). For WTL, WTR - laid-up with interstice swelling fillers;
6. Inner covering: Semiconducting nonwoven tape. For WTL, WTR - semiconducting water-swellable tape;
7. Screen: Copper wires and copper tape, applied helically;
8. Inner covering: Plastic tape. For WTL, WTR - Semiconducting water-swellable tape;
9. Radial water barrier: For WTR - aluminum/plastic laminate tightly attached to outer sheath;
10. Cover: Weather-resistant black color PE.
