Medium voltage cables with pre-assembled XLPE-insulated conductors for power distribution. Suitable for installation in buildings, open air, underground, trays, ducts, and wet areas where mechanical damage is not expected. Ideal for plough cabling.
 
Aluminum conductor (EN 60228, Class 2 - RMC, watertight) with semi-conducting XLPE screen and XLPE insulation. Cores are pre-assembled; WTL/WTR types include swelling fillers. Inner covering: semiconducting tape or water-swellable tape. Screened with copper wires and tape. WTR features a radial water barrier with Al/plastic laminate under a weather-resistant black PE sheath. Rated 12/20 kV, operating -60 °C to +50 °C, short-circuit +250 °C, max conductor temp +90 °C, bending radius 12d, tested at 42 kV, 50 Hz. Sizes 35/16 to 800/50 mm².

Application Power cables for medium voltage distribution with pre-assembled XLPE-insulated conductors. Suitable for laying
in buildings, in open air, in ground, in cable trays and ducts where mechanical damages are not expected, in
wet locations. Suitable for plough cabling.
Construction 1. Conductor: Aluminum acc. to EN 60228 (water tight). Class 2 - RMC (stranded, round, compacted);
2. Conductor screen: Semi-conducting XLPE;
3. Insulation: XLPE;
4. Insulation screen: Semi-conducting XLPE;
5. Assembly of cores: Three insulated cores are laid-up (pre-assembled). For WTL, WTR - laid-up with interstice swelling fillers;
6. Inner covering: Semiconducting nonwoven tape. For WTL, WTR - semiconducting water-swellable tape;
7. Screen: Copper wires and copper tape, applied helically;
8. Inner covering: Plastic tape. For WTL, WTR - Semiconducting water-swellable tape;
9. Radial water barrier: For WTR - aluminum/plastic laminate tightly attached to outer sheath;
10. Cover: Weather-resistant black color PE.
