These medium voltage power cables are designed for 12/20 kV distribution systems and feature XLPE-insulated aluminum conductors laid around a steel messenger wire. They are suitable for installation in buildings, open air, underground, cable trays, ducts, and wet environments where mechanical damage is not expected. The construction also supports plough cabling.
 
Each cable includes water-tight aluminum conductors (Class 2 per EN 60228), semi-conducting XLPE conductor and insulation screens, XLPE insulation, and a semiconducting water-swellable tape. A radial water barrier made of aluminum/plastic laminate is tightly bonded to the weather-resistant black PE sheath. Cables operate at max +90°C, short-circuit temp +250°C, and install from -20°C. Rated at 50 Hz with a test voltage of 42 kV, bending radius is 12×D. Available in 3-core configurations from 25/67 mm² to 300/67 mm².
