Medium voltage distribution cables designed for durability in wet or dry environments. These cables use XLPE insulation and are ideal for installation in buildings, open air, underground, ducts, and trays where mechanical damage is not expected. Also suitable for plough cabling. They are reliable for both indoor and outdoor applications, providing high thermal and mechanical stability, even in harsh climates.
 
The structure includes water-tight aluminum conductors (EN 60228, Class 2 - RMC), a semiconducting XLPE conductor screen and insulation layer, and a semiconducting insulation screen. A water-swellable tape forms the inner covering, surrounded by a radial water barrier of aluminum/plastic laminate and a weather-resistant black PE sheath.Three individually sheathed cores are laid around a bare earth conductor. Rated 12/20 kV; operating temp: +90°C; short-circuit temp: +250°C; install temp: -20°C; min bend radius:12×D; test voltage: 42 kV; frequency: 50 Hz. Sizes: 35/35 - 300/70 mm2
