The 6-AYKCYDY (aluminum) and 6-CYKCYDY (copper) cables are intended for medium-voltage power distribution in areas where there is a higher risk of mechanical damage. Suitable for use in buildings, power stations, open air, underground, cable trays, and ducts, they feature Class 2 stranded conductors (EN 60228), PVC insulation (HD 603), helically applied copper wire and tape screening, an additional PVC inner covering, galvanized steel wire armor, and a black PVC sheath for enhanced protection.
 
These cables operate from –30°C to +70°C, with short-circuit tolerance up to +160°C, and comply with EN 60332-1-2 fire standards. Designed for indoor and outdoor use at 50 Hz, they have a rated voltage of 3.6/6 kV and a test voltage of 12.5 kV. Available in 3-core versions with conductor sizes from 25 mm² to 240 mm², they offer excellent durability in mechanically demanding environments.
