Medium voltage power cables designed for distribution networks with XLPE insulation, concentric copper screen, and both longitudinal and radial water sealing. These cables are ideal for installation in buildings, power stations, in open air, underground, in cable trays, or ducts where mechanical damage is unlikely. They ensure reliable performance in indoor and outdoor applications.
 
The cable construction includes aluminum or copper conductors per EN 60228 (Class 2 - RMC), semi-conducting XLPE layers for the conductor and insulation screens, and XLPE insulation. A semiconducting water-swellable tape is used beneath a helically applied copper wire and tape screen. Another water-swellable layer and an aluminum/plastic radial barrier reinforce protection. Finished with a black weather-resistant PE sheath. Rated 20/35 kV, tested at 75 kV, max temp +90 °C, short-circuit +250 °C. Sizes: 50/16 to 500/35 mm², single-core.
