These medium voltage power cables are designed for distribution applications in buildings, power stations, open air, underground, ducts, and trays, where mechanical damage is not expected. They feature XLPE insulation, a concentric copper screen, and longitudinal water sealing.
 
The conductor is aluminum (AXEKVCE) or copper (CXEKVCE), stranded and compacted to Class 2 (EN 60228). Layers include semi-conducting XLPE for conductor and insulation screening, XLPE insulation, and a semiconducting water-swellable inner covering. A copper wire and tape screen is applied helically, followed by a non-conducting water-swellable tape and a weather-resistant black PE sheath. The cables operate at up to +90 °C, tolerate short circuits up to +250 °C, and can be installed in temperatures down to –20 °C. They are rated 12.7/22 kV with a 50 kV test voltage for 50 Hz systems. Offered as single-core cables with aluminum (35–500 mm²) or copper (16–35 mm²) conductors.
