These medium-voltage cables are designed for distribution in buildings, power stations, open air, underground, ducts, and trays where mechanical damage is not expected. They feature XLPE insulation and a concentric copper screen for enhanced electrical and thermal performance.
 
The construction includes aluminum (AXEKCY) or copper (CXEKCY) conductors (EN 60228, Class 2), semi-conducting XLPE conductor and insulation screens, and a semiconducting nonwoven tape. The screen consists of copper wires and tape, applied helically, followed by a polyester inner tape and red PVC sheath. Suitable for continuous operation up to +90 °C and short circuits up to +250 °C, with an installation minimum of –15 °C and operational range from –50 °C to +50 °C. Rated at 12.7/22 kV, test voltage 50 kV, fire-rated to EN 60332-1-2, for 50 Hz systems. Available in single-core, 35–500 mm² (Al) and 35 mm² max (Cu).
