The 10-AXEKCY (aluminum) and 10-CXEKCY (copper) are single-core, medium-voltage distribution cables with XLPE insulation and a concentric copper screen. Ideal for use in buildings, power stations, open air, underground, cable trays, and ducts where mechanical damage is unlikely. Constructed with Class 2 stranded, round, compacted conductors (EN 60228), they include semi-conducting XLPE conductor and insulation screens, semiconducting nonwoven tape, polyester tape, helically applied copper wires and tape, and a red PVC sheath.
 
Rated 6/10 kV and tested at 21 kV, these cables operate between –50°C and +50°C, withstand short-circuit temperatures up to +250°C, and support a conductor temperature up to +90°C. Designed for both indoor and outdoor installations at 50 Hz, they comply with EN 60332-1-2 fire standards. Bending radius is 15 × D, and installation is possible from –15°C. Available in sizes from 35 mm² to 500 mm² (Al) and 16 mm² to 35 mm² (Cu).
