Designed for overhead power distribution, 1-AES wires feature bundled insulated aluminum cores, assembled for service lines and energy delivery. Manufactured to EN 60228 standards using Class 2 RM stranded, compacted aluminum conductors, they provide excellent strength and flexibility. Each core is insulated with weather-resistant black PE, marked with embossed identification for easy phasing.

Ideal for outdoor applications, 1-AES operates from -50°C to +70°C, with a maximum conductor temperature of +70°C and short-circuit tolerance up to 135°C. The cables support a bending radius of 18D and can be installed from +5°C. Rated 0.6/1 kV, they are tested at 4 kV and operate at 50 Hz. Available in configurations of 2, 4, 4+1, and 4+2 conductors, with sizes ranging from 16 mm² to 120+25 mm².
